I’ve gotten away from something I never thought I’d like, but turned out to love: front-end coding. HTML5, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, and jQuery, I find it all fun – it’s like digital LEGO®. I’ve decided to “go back to school” – wait, I put that in quotes. I should actually get certifications. I already know how to code, but it wouldn’t hurt to have some certificates under my belt. I was explaining code to someone a few weeks ago and used the LEGO® analogy with them to lessen the stigma of it being too difficult, overwhelming, or challenging. I thought it would encourage them to look into it as possible career future. I wonder if I could make a shift and go full developer…
